  • Knows how to use Adobe's creative software-specifically Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
  • Is competent in Microsoft Office Suite and Windows environment.
  • Is creative and demonstrates a working knowledge of art fundamentals.
  • Is able to listen well and positively utilizes feedback to create finished artworks.
  • Has the ability to translate narrative into compelling imagery.
  • Has creative problem-solving skills.
  • Has attention to detail.
  • Is able to multitask with multiple assignments and meet established deadlines.
  • Gets along well on team projects and accepts feedback positively.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Illustrates and produces clear, high-quality imagery for academic curriculum.
  • Uses desktop publishing software to lay out sequential artwork with clearly legible text.
  • Researches and illustrates content that corresponds with text.
  • Coordinates with designers to meet the graphic needs for development of curriculum.
  • Refines illustrations with editing team.
  • Implements A.C.E. policies into illustrated artworks.

Job Overview

The Illustrator is a digital artist responsible for the creation of high-quality imagery for educational diagrams, illustrated narrative, and sequential artwork that is in line with the standards and policies of Accelerated Christian Education.
