We are seeking a Mid - Senior Level Marine HVAC Engineer to join our team in Washington, DC.
The Marine HVAC Engineer will work primarily on design and modifications to U.S. Government vessels. Principal responsibilities include providing technical leadership to HVAC design and specification development.
Tasks include:
- Analysis of HVAC and other vessel systems as required.
- Develop designs and drawings for vessel HVAC systems, and potentially other systems as may be required.
- Develop specification for HVAC system components, and other systems as required.
- Recommend design improvements to improve system performance, reduce cost, and/or reduce technical risk
- Work with subcontractors and vendors to ensure subsystem designs efficiently meet system requirements
- Develop engineering presentations and reports
