About Nutranext DTC

Based in Bethesda with offices in New York and San Francisco, Nutranext DTC is the e-commerce division of Nutranext and has purview over their direct-to-consumer channels and brands. With Clorox's backing, Nutranext is moving fast like a startup, but with the support and stability of a leading CPG powerhouse. Beyond Nutranext, the DTC group also acts as a center of excellence with the larger, Fortune 500 organization to evangelize best practices in support of other established retail brands in expanding direct to consumer.

Acquisition Marketing Manager

The Acquisition Marketing Manager will work cross functionally to drive the growth of our customer base through online marketing channels such as display, video, paid social, affiliate, partnerships as well as opportunities to expand into offline performance media. This is a unique chance for someone who loves to act as entrepreneur over their functional area to help us build a new transformational brand from the ground up in the rapidly growing wellness industry.

This individual will be a senior member on the team responsible for scaling our direct to consumer (DTC) acquisition strategy against revenue and CAC targets. You will play a critical role in the launch of new brands within the ecommerce space to provide science-backed solutions to a wide audience by shaping the customer acquisition strategy and bringing the brand to life through paid campaigns. You will act as a senior member of the Acquisition team helping the VP of Growth to strategically create marketing campaigns that balance ROAS performance with brand growth and implementing new attribution methodologies to measure holistically and drive topline revenue.

The ideal candidate must be both creative and data driven, and both a self-starter and team player who possesses a passion for driving growth through cross-channel media campaigns and continuous testing. You love to explore marketing analytics, traffic trends, customer behavior. You speak in the language of CAC, LTV, ROAS on a daily basis. You are passionate about the user experience while hyper-focused on performance marketing that delivers revenue. You ask critical questions, consistently seeking to find creative solutions to marketing challenges. A strong understanding of DTC/e-commerce and experience in growing and converting users is critical for this role. Ideally, this person will have a passion for health and wellness and embodies our vision of making lives healthier.

Key Responsibilities

  • Launch and scale acquisition marketing programs through hands-on management and working with internal team and/or agency partners to efficiently deliver against revenue targets
  • Own metrics and KPIs for the full conversion funnel on managed channels with ability to quickly diagnose performance fluctuations
  • Analyze campaign performance data and implement optimizations that increase scale and ROAS efficiency
  • Research and evaluate vendors and partners to uncover new opportunities to acquire customers efficiently and at scale
  • Launch innovative paid campaign strategies and tactics to unlock new customer growth while simultaneously quickly stopping tests with low chance of success
  • Embody our fail fast mentality by developing tests and iterating on learnings across platforms, creative formats, messaging, audiences
  • Provide a strategic point of view on creative formats, including best practices for different channels and tactics. Partner with our creative team to brief and develop creative concepts and assets
  • Stay on top of the changing digital ecosystem including advertising formats, channels and technologies to improve campaign performance.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Retention, Product, Creative, and R&D teams to ensure consistent consumer experience that generates results
  • Design, launch and analyze robust tests across paid marketing channels, and communicate results to stakeholders at all levels
  • Partner with analytics and data science to analyze data from various reporting models in order to draw insights and steer optimizations and testing

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in consumer marketing, with at least two in the e-commerce space
  • In-depth knowledge of performance marketing with hands-on experience with a proven track record of successful campaigns in 2-3 channels of following: Google ads, Affiliate networks, video advertising, programmatic display, Facebook/Instagram
  • Self-motivated and strategic thinker with a bias towards action while also being a strong team player
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data from various reporting models in order to draw insights and steer optimizations and testing.
  • Experience with web analytics, Google Analytics preferred
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Flexibility and agility to adapt to changing and evolving business objectives
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, iterate based on data, and work efficiently in a fast paced environment
  • Strong sense of urgency, attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong collaborator-ability to work across multiple teams and personalities to drive towards common goal
  • Excellent data analysis skills: Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel and pivot tables, proficiency with SQL or another programming language nice to have
  • Experience with A/B testing, optimization and attribution platforms
