Assistant, Member Relations and Outreach

Summary:

The Assistant will provide administrative support to the Associate Director of Member Relations and Outreach as well as project-based support on member relations events and projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Schedule meetings, make travel arrangements, manage phones, and provide database maintenance.
  • Manage invoices and expense reimbursements.
  • Compile, prepare, and distribute presentation materials including electronic media, photocopying, binding and printing.
  • Support all member related events throughout the year including Governors Awards and Oscars.
 
Position Requirements
  • Bachelor degree preferred.
  • Prior experience in an administrative role supporting an executive.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). CRM preferred.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with special attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work discreetly and professionally with high level executives, VIPs, and the Board.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with the team and other Academy departments as well as interact professionally and gracefully with Academy members and the public.
  • Ability to stay organized, change tasks as needed, and meet deadlines while under pressure.
  • Must be available some nights and weekends during awards season.
