As the Program Coordinator of Colorado Springs, Colorado you will be responsible for the assurance of compliance with SAFY policy and procedure, in addition to meeting the expectations of the SC Trust’s grant. Provide continuous direction, assistance, and clinical oversight to those supervised. Accountable for the fiscal viability of the program.


  • Check in with child care workers to determine how things went during session. Coordinate session debriefing and group leader planning time.
  • Purchase and prepare incentives and supplies. Copy handouts. Complete paperwork and reports.

Program Coordinator

  • Call families for mid-week check ins. Make and confirm arrangements for child care and transportation if needed.
  • Solicit and coordinate donations. Monitor and ensure compliance with funding requirements. Manage the Strengthening Families Program budget.
  • Make arrangements and plans for meals. Purchase all materials and food needs.
  • Supervise and assist with on-site set up and clean-up for each session, ensuring the facility is open and available for each group session.
  • Coordinate collection of process and outcome evaluation data. Complete all required paperwork and reports.
  • Recruit and screen participants and identify group leaders.
  • Reserve space for each session. Plan and coordinate booster sessions.
  • Build relationships with community partners and referral sources. Make referrals for other services as needed.


  • Lead, coach and develop a high performance divisional team. Provide direction to staff in the form of answers to problems and advice with staff performance and youth issues. Establish performance goals for the division and monitor progress.
  • nterview candidates applying for assigned clinical and non-clinical positions in the program. Responsible for the training of assigned staff, which includes, thorough and complete training for new employees and assuring that the current staff receive appropriate continuing education. Assign performance goals, conduct monthly supervision, and perform scheduled evaluations for all direct reports. Establish work schedules and on call rotation among staff to assure coverage of the program.
  • Work with Program Manager and finance department to manage program budget and work within that budget once approved. Review monthly financial information and make suggestions when necessary.
  • Provide on-site support for group leaders and participants. Provide regular supervision to group leaders.
Position Requirements

What you bring to this role;

  • Master’s degree in the field of social work, counseling, psychology, or other license-eligible related field of human services
  • Master’s level or Independent clinical licensure for treatment foster care programs. Specific grants/programs/contracts may not require clinical licensure, however it is preferred
  • Program Manager will have, at a minimum, of Master’s degree in the social or behavioral sciences, Independently licensed is preferred.
  • Must have a minimum of one (1) year of child placement experience, 2-3 years preferred. Must have at least 2 years of being in a supervisory/administrative capacity and two years being in providing direct care services
