About Clorox DTC:

Based in San Francisco, New York City, and Washington, D.C. area, Clorox DTC is the center of excellence for Clorox's owned e-commerce brands. With Clorox's backing, the DTC group is moving fast like a startup, but with the support and stability of a leading CPG powerhouse.

Role Overview:

As a Product Design Lead, you'll drive the design of elegant and hardworking interfaces that evolve and scale the Better Health VMS eCommerce experiences across web and other channels. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you'll leverage your passion for technology and depth of experience to solve our business challenges through user-centric design.

This is an opportunity for extremely high impact in a global organization. As a critical contributor to our new platform launches, you will help shape new customer experiences from the ground up. You will develop innovative brand experiences tailored to their respective audiences while applying the very best tools and technologies to the e-commerce space.

You'll create impact by:

? Rolling up your sleeves and developing intuitive, delightful experiences that elevate our user experience, solve product challenges, and drive our metrics

? Defining and delivering a consistent design language and system that allows our teams to execute quickly and consistently

? Adhering to best in class accessibility principles and evangelizing + maintaining a razor focus on inclusive design

? Leading the execution of end-to-end design efforts across mobile and desktop web, contributing both in early ideation and in working through the details up to launch

? Building and driving alignment across teams on design strategy and priorities, both within the product team, and broadly across the org

? Mentoring and supporting a growing team and championing the role of product design at Clorox

? Iterating and improving inter and intra-team operations, maximizing efficiency, focus, and output quality

? Collaborating across teams e.g product management, marketing, merchandising, data science, creative and engineering to unify the experience priorities and deliver a singular design and experience vision informed by your expertise, VOC, and business priorities

? Validating your assumptions with actual users

? Staying close to the metrics and analyzing user behavior to inform the success of your products and designs

What you'll need:

? Experience working in a fast-paced, high growth company

? 7+ years of professional web and product (UX/UI/Interaction) design experience, with at least 3 years focused on e-commerce

? 2+ years of experience managing a team of designers

? Excellent proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and Sketch

? Familiarity with modern front-end web frameworks and how they impact various design choices

? A BA or MA degree, or equivalent practical experience

? Strong communication skills and intuition for communication strategy at every level -- within teams, within the company, to users, and other audiences

? Strong leadership, customer engagement, organization, team influence, and interpersonal skills

? Experience with application development lifecycle management, continuous integration experience is a plus - You love getting in the weeds with product management and engineering.
