Our Opportunity Our privately held advertising agency located in Chesterbrook, PA is currently seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) who will report to the President & CEO. The Chief Financial Officer will be an operationally focused CFO who will lead and oversee all fiscal activities at DMW. The CFO will be a strategic partner to the CEO, responsible for all aspects of client profitability, financial accounting, reporting, financial analysis, treasury, risk management, and audit requirements. Essential Responsibilities The essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Oversee and direct accounting, financial management, treasury, budgeting, audit, and tax. Oversee the monthly closing process, including the timely preparation of monthly management reporting package. Direct the annual audit process. Oversee client contract administration and client profitability. Direct the Accounting team in best practices, procedures, and systems necessary to maintain proper records and to assure adequate controls. Proactively manage the company’s working capital. Oversee and direct best practices in the client billing area. Direct monthly forecasting and cash flow reporting. Manage and procure corporate insurance program. Manage the relationships with outside accounting firm, bank, insurance broker, and legal counsel. Manage activities relating to shareholder financial matters.   Position Requirements Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA and/or MBA preferred but not required. Minimum of 10+ years’ experience in Financial leadership role. Related experience in a professional services business. Must be a strategic thinker with demonstrated success in achievement of organizational financial goals. Experience overseeing HR, IT, and/or Project Management is a plus. Have thorough knowledge and understanding of accounting principles and GAAP. Has a personal commitment to organizational excellence; displays honesty, integrity, and a strong sense of ethics in all decision and actions.
