A Physical Therapist must be a graduate of an accredited physical therapy program and possess current Texas State licensure. Must be willing to assist in carrying out the objectives of WTRC.
Physical Therapist applies basic techniques of physical therapy; instruction and supervision of any physical therapy student interns; assists in departmental housekeeping duties; maintenance of records; gathering of information for adequate records; and assume other duties as directed by the Director of the department. The Physical Therapist adheres to the professional standards of practice guidelines and code of ethics as set forth by the State Board.
Will evaluate and treat adult patients with a variety of orthopedic, musculoskeletal and neurological diasgnoses. Works with a team of 18 other physical, occupational and speech therapists along with fitness trainers and office staff. Tenure ranging from 1 to 40 years of experience in the field. WTRC also provides outstanding continuing education opportunities.
