Event Operations Student Assistant
Definition and Purpose
The Event Operations Assistant reports directly to the Coordinator - Event Management and is responsible for implementing a broad range of event set-up and take down of equipment to include stage pieces, risers, table s and chairs, event setup and take down preparation for ASI special events, concerts, club competitions and all campus events in the University Union and Recreation Center, with concurrent event management when required.
There will be an opportunity for advancement within this position as an Event Operations Supervisor. The Event Operations Supervisor will be directly responsible for assisting customers with large scale events.

Employment with this organization is of an "at will" nature, which means that the employee may resign at any time and ASI may discharge the employee at any time with or without cause.
Compensation and Hours
Pay Rate: Event Operations Student Assistant $12.00 per hour; Event Operations Student Supervisor rate $12.50 per hour maximum 20 hours per week. Early mornings, late nights, weekend and holiday hours required.
