Senior Director of Marketing Strategy and Analysis - Denver, CO

This position will be responsible for leading the Company’s marketing and sales analysis, developing insightful marketing plans, and directing demand generation. You will contribute individually as well and provide leadership to direct report team members in leveraging data-driven insights to pinpoint strategic growth opportunities within our marketing landscape and manage key strategic marketing projects from inception to execution. You will report to the Chief Marketing Officer & Head of Sales in high energy and stimulating environment. You will collaborate and leverage the experience from the marketing and leadership team’s analytical and execution experience from the Boston Consulting Group, Capgemini, McKesson, Global Health Exchange, Verizon, and CenturyLink. You will be called upon to provide strategic insight and assist senior management in making critical business decisions.

  • As an individual contributor and through managing a team of analysts, assess industry landscape, market share, and market growth opportunities
  • Lead strategies related to lead/demand generation
  • Create competitive intelligence infrastructure and ongoing management of competitive insights
  • Create analytics infrastructure and insights for PCM Core and PCM Trials business lines.
  • Study prospect-lead-client funnel in order to improve marketing effectiveness.
    • Response rate by media, by market, by demographics, by the time of year
    • Conversion rate
    • Level of service
    • Referral channel performance
 
Position Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree, MBA or equivalent preferred.
  • 2+ years in management consulting pre or postgraduate school. Experience at McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Accenture, AT Kearney, Capgemini, Deloitte, E&Y, KPMG, Oliver Wyman, PWC, Arthur D Little, LEK or similar highly desirable
  • 2+ years’ experience in managing/leading direct report and/or project teams.
  • Excellent facilitative management skills and strong ability to work effectively in teams.
  • Demonstrable skills in partnering with marketing leaders and other stakeholders to define business problems frame the issues and align analytics initiatives that deliver insights to inform data-driven decisions.
  • Strong analytical mindset and skills, including the ability to break down complex data scenarios into digestible components with the initiative to dig into the "why" of various results.
  • Ability to interpret multidimensional customer and response data, oversee strategic demand generation plans for traditional and digital media
  • Experience in demand stimulation leveraging feedback loop in overlapping media vehicles
  • Ability to work in "build" roles and develop a strategy and implementation approach from the ground up
  • Work directly with marketing and channel operations team to execute recommendations
  • Ability to bring project initiation to successful completion with a strong execution bias.
  • Analytical skills and disciplines in support of business planning, strategy development/deployment, relationship management, and conflict resolution.
  • Advanced skills in MS Office Suite.
  • Desire to work in a mission-driven organization serving chronically ill patients.
