Share Email Opening Title Human Resources Generalist  Description Alliant has a great opportunity for a HR Generalist in our Minneapolis office. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to to perform duties at a professional level in some or all of the following functional areas: recruiting, employee relations, performance management, training, employment, Affirmative Action/EEO programs, benefits management, and coordinating with payroll as applicable. This position requires an extremely perceptive person who can relate to individuals at all levels within the organization. You will be mentored by and report directly to Alliant’s HR Manager. Your main responsibilities Lead full cycle recruitment activities of direct hires including job postings, applicant review, scheduling interviews, and managing candidate experience Coordinate job fairs and follow up with candidates and managers Schedule and conduct new hire orientation Maintains all employee and applicant documentation as dictated by governing agencies. Maintain and update all job descriptions. Work with HR Manager to coach, counsel and guide managers before executing employee disciplinary actions. Track all employee disciplinary actions once administered. Acts as an employee relations specialist. Conducts internal audits as necessary (I-9, personnel files, etc.) Distributes and monitors employee performance evaluations and ensures they are done in a timely manner (i.e., three months, six months, one year and yearly thereafter). Assist with Annual Salary review process. Monitors employee eligibility for benefits plans. Reviews benefits with employees and processes enrollment, cancellation or changes. Organizes and manages annual open enrollment communications and election process. Verifies benefit billing accuracy and processes for payment.
