Summary & Objective
The human resources manager is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with senior HR and business leadership in supporting multiple companies and locations. This position oversees other talent manager(s) and talent recruiters. This position oversees and supports in carrying out responsibilities in the following functional areas: recruiting, benefits administration, employee relations, performance management, onboarding, policy implementation, affirmative action and employment law compliance.

Essential Functions

Manages scorecards for HR team following standards for updates and working with team to achieve set goals

Monitors workload and makes recommendations for department staff changes

Provide guidance, direction and oversight of US based HR team including HR managers and recruiters.

Partners with leadership on all HR topics and projects

Develops and oversees various human resource plans and procedures for all organization personnel; assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures; prepares and maintains the employee handbook and ensures up-to-date department SOPs.

Participates in developing department goals and objectives.

Supports and administers the compensation program; monitors the performance evaluation program and revises as necessary.

Ensures all aspects of human resources are handled appropriately, timely and are audited.

Implements new programs and ensures appropriate communication and marketing of programs

Prepares HR reports internally and as required by law on behalf of the company

Monitors career-pathing program adjusting as necessary; and works on projects and initiatives; conducts new employee orientation as needed.

Handles employee relations counseling.

Manages HR vendors and provides updates

Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars.

Creates and evaluates reports, decisions and results of department in relation to established goals. Creates and disseminates new policies and procedures to continually improve efficiency of the company.

Maintains human resource information system records and compiles reports from the database.

Maintains compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations.

This position is responsible for oversight of the US based HR team.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, photocopiers and smartphones.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6 p.m. and may be adjusted based on business need. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Travel

Little to no travel is expected for this position.

 
Position Requirements

Bachelor's or master’s degree and a minimum 5 years of HR management experience leading a team; SPHR or SCP and five years of experience in the HR field, or any similar combination of education and experience.

Preferred Education and Experience

Call center (high volume) and IT business experience
