Our Team:
Working in a participative team based environment, using World Class Operations processes and principles, the Manufacturing Project Manager Engineer provides day-to-day engineering technical expertise to Operating Departments as needed. As our Manufacturing Site Engineer you will be focused on providing technical support to Operations, Manufacturing Optimization, Capital Project Management, New Product Launches as well as to Continuous Improvement Support projects.
What you will be doing:
- Leads the design and implementation of site based capital and manufacturing improvement projects.
- Participates on teams as an expert in the discipline and is able to work with guiding management oversight.
- Evaluates the feasibility of manufacturing, packaging, and process systems improvements and modifications.
- May have salaried and/or hourly associate direct reports.
- Through leadership and influence will lead project teams to deliver capital projects, manufacturing process improvements, and solve manufacturing problems.
- Manages and directs the work of outside engineering consultants and construction contractors during design and implementation of projects. Typically manages projects with a value of less than $1,000,000.
What you bring to the team:
- Bachelor's degree in BSME, BSEE or BSChE
- 4+ years of engineering experience managing capital projects
- Able to influence and accomplish work through others
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Experience and Education:
- World Class Organization tools/experience in process Excellence, continuous improvement procurement of production and/or manufacturing equipment
- Interpersonal/Leadership/Communication: Experience with team interaction techniques
- Engineering Generalist or Manufacturing Plant and Capital Project Management experience
