The ideal candidate will support PEO USC. The Navy's PEO Unmanned and Small Combatants (PEO USC) designs, develops, builds, maintains and modernizes the Navy's expanding family of unmanned maritime systems, mine warfare systems and small surface combatants. 

We are seeking a Progam Analysis, Control, and Monitoring Task Lead to join our team in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will:

  • Provide program analysis support for high level strategic planning and policy/process/procedures development, business process improvements, overall PEO performance metrics, and secretarial functions (including administration) that are required to align all functional and product funding of the Command.
  • Complete analyziation of technical, engineering and programmatic issues such as fleet or new ship introduction, in-service support, and acquisition documentation/processes for PEO USC programs.
  • Provide process development support for developing and improving internal processes required to effectively operate the organization and its infrastructure, as well as strategic and tactical planning and execution within or across the tasks.
  • Assist in developing required plans, concept papers, white papers and briefings. Provide support for action and milestone planning and tracking, project planning and progress, and program metrics establishment and tracking.
  • Assume responsibility for presentation development, including research preparation of draft presentations to satisfy a wide range of briefing requirements including program meetings, overviews, reviews, and milestones.
  • Support inquiries, briefings, and meetings in response to NAVSEA, OPNAV, OSD, and Congressional reviews and inquiries. Support includes Data Exchange Agreement (DEA) meetings and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) case development and execution.
  •  Support the implementation of the PEO USC International Program Strategic Plan.
  • Provide corporate communication support to manage all internal and external communications in conjunction with NAVSEA 00D.
  • Facilitate, support and participate in Integrated Product Teams (IPT) and Working Groups.
  • Provide correspondence support for command correspondence and serial file, documentation/ correspondence routing and tracking, and administrative support for corporate communication tasks.
  • Document Support in managing the archiving of command documents and programmatic products from the Program Management Offices (PMO) in DCMS.
 
Position Requirements

Required Education, Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor degree (BS/BA) in related field from an accredited institution. 
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience with DoD acquisition processes, in DoD/Navy program management, Industry or Government technical management, or Industry or Government business management.
  • Minimum of 5 years' supervisory experience
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in/with: Program Analysis, Control and Monitoring Support.
  • US citizenship is a prerequisite.
  • An active Secret security clearance is required.
