HR Generalist, Per Mar Security Company, Davenport, Iowa
Serve as a coach and counselor for the HR function for assigned branches, primarily focusing on employee relations, compliance, policy adherence and daily branch support.
Working along with the Director of Human Resources investigate employee complaints as received, coordinating with branch management and other employees as required.
Working along with the Director of Human Resources respond employment claims.
Coordinate all unemployment issues with branch personnel, effectively respond to claims and serve as the client contact with the unemployment vendor.
Maintain all required Affirmative Action logs and administrative processes.
Responsible for completion of the Affirmative Action Plans, EEO-1 and VETS 100 reports and other related reports. Conduct annual plan reviews with branch management in order to identify recruitment opportunities.
Assist with the revision of policies as requested.
Assist in the administration of drug and alcohol policies and testing as well as conduct monthly random drug tests at the corporate office.
Ensure required individual employee licensing is monitored and assist as needed.
Working along with the Benefits and Compliance Specialist provide guidance to assigned branches with ADA or FMLA employment accommodations.
Respond to legal inquiries requesting company files and information as needed.
Work on special projects as assigned by the Director of Human Resources.
