Summary

The customer account coordinator will assist customer service team in contacts, potential customers, and handles the needs of existing customers. This role will servce as administrative support between the Customer Service Team and Production Floor.

Essential duties and responsibilities

This job description does not imply that these are the only duties performed.   • Maintains customer database including updated information for customers.
  • Manges and Enters Price matrics information.
  • Performs Order Entry, RMAs, RFQs.
  • Expedites with Planning.
  • Will monitor Customer Service/Sales email box and respond professionally and accordingly.
  • Team player who can handle internal and external challenges professionally
  • Investigates and resolves customer problems with shipments.
  • Individual should be punctual and adhere to a set schedule. Reliability is a key in the position in order to properly support LSI’s customers.
  • This position may require knowledge of SOX / 404 internal audit controls and related documentation related to specific job tasks performed.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or GED required

Some Appropriate/Related college degree a plus

Excellent written and oral communication skills, organizational and multitasking skills, and extensive product knowledge are strongly preferred.

Proficiency with basic computer programs including MS Office suite and ERPs

Prior customer service experience preferred.

Manufacturing environment experience preferred

Work Authorization/Security Clearance

Due to federal contract obligations, must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Does not have any supervisory responsibilities but may serve as a coach and mentor for other positions within the organization.

Skills

Comprehension & Communication Skills

Individual should be able to read and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence and memos. Individual should be able to communicate with internal and external customers both verbally and in written formats. This includes the ability to use appropriate business terminology and follow acceptable business communication standards. Individual should be comfortable presenting to small or large groups. Individual should also possess general knowledge and understanding of common industry and manufacturing acronyms and terms.

Mathematical Skills

Possess the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measurement, common fractions and decimals. Comfortable with calculating lead-times, discounting, annualizing and other common business computations.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Possess the ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Individual should be able to handle a range of customer situations in a rational and professional manner. The position also interacts with all functions within LSI, so the individual must demonstrate ability to work with a variety of personalities in a professional manner.

Technological

Experience using a variety of computer-based products, including but not limited to: Microsoft Office Suite, Internet Explorer, Intuitive (or comparable software), Lync, voicemail and other appropriate business products.

Physical Demands *

While performing the duties of this job the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, use hands and or arms to pull handles and push buttons and reach objects. Requirements may also include climbing, balancing, stooping, bending, reaching, kneeling, crouching or crawling. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
