Summary:
Yorktown Systems Group is seeking exceptionally qualified individuals to serve as a Military Analyst under the Combined Arms Center (CAC) Support Services (MAIDIQ) contract. This position provides support to the Irregular Warfare Proponent (IW) efforts for the development and maintenance of Army IW Doctrine, Organization, Training, Material, Leadership and Education, Personnel, Facilities and Policy (DOTMLPF-P) modernization responsibilities. This position will ensure IW preparation efforts keep pace with changes in the global operating environment and that IW education and training prepares commanders and staff, operational forces, and individual personnel for IW across the range of military operations; support the development of IW related doctrine, tactics, techniques and procedures and other guidance necessary to address the requirements of Combative Commanders; execute force management responsibilities relative to DOTMLPF-P for their function and branches; ensure personnel, including commanders and their staff are organized, trained and equipped to support IW; ensure all information related to IW operations is collected, retained and preserved in order to plan future operations, support integration efforts and provide data analysis of IW histories and assist future efforts; establish and maintain a collection plan and observations and lessons; and develop, implement and continually update based on lessons learned, input from the field and other subject matter expert input.
Specific duties may include, but are not limited to:
Serve as a SME who provides research and analytical support for the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps Transformation and Modernization initiatives, emerging doctrine and tactics, future Warfighting concepts and strategic plans, or new systems acquisition and fielding.
Collects and analyzes lessons and best practices to produce Doctrine, Organization, Training, Material, Leadership and Education, Personnel, Facilities, and Policy (DOTLMPF-P) gap-filling products for the force.
Conduct analysis to identify and facilitate the resolution and mitigation of Army issues at the tactical, operational and strategic levels of war to include the institutional aspects of the Army.
Required Qualifications:
BA or BS degree from an accredited university.
Completed at a minimum one Capabilities Based Assessment (CBA) is required.
Completion of the Capabilities Development Course.
At least 5 years of experience in working with Joint Capability Integration Development System (JCIDS) with the creations of CBA's.
At least ten or more years of related military work experience.
Desired Qualifications:
Completion of one Cost-Based Analysis.
At least 3 years of experience working at a DA Proponent Office working on DOTMLPF-P analysis.
