Summary/Objective:
Reporting to the Director, Business Planning, and as a member of the Business Planning (BP) team, the Manager, Commercialization Project Management leads a team under time-sensitive conditions in a CGMP manufacturing environment. Ensures effective information sharing and coordinates activities with all functional teams involved in new Brand product launches. Manages continuous improvement initiatives driven by performance monitoring scorecard to ensure competitive advantage on the new launches.


Essential Functions:
? Leads cross-functional teams (i.e., marketing, sales, engineering, R&D product development, marketing research, and others as needed).
? Delivers core growth or rapid response projects (time constrained, medium/high complexity, share gaining) for new products and/or significant cost savings.
? Acts as primary liaison between general management leadership teams and project teams. Leads projects from initiation (charter) through technical transfer at end of Activation.
? Organizes the cross-functional activities to ensure completion of the project/product on schedule on budget and within charter constraints. Ensures the development of risks & contingency plans. Implements contingencies as needed.
? Challenges team assumptions for clarity and congruency. Pushes leadership teams to make key decisions timely. He/she is considered a key business partner and leader by Category or Brand stakeholders.
? Guide, manage, and mentor the team members including clearly defining goals and objectives for employees, meeting with team on regular cadence to provide feedback on projects, development efforts, and team goals, assigning projects and tasks to direct reports and provide ongoing guidance and coaching

? Ensure regular meetings and communication to review performances on new launches and
ensure cross functional alignment on corrective actions
? Act as a reference for the performance scorecard and a continuous improvement program on
Innovation.
? Manage new process design and implementation to improve efficiency and performance
? Continuously monitor the quality of work and verify information


Required Education and Experience:
? Bachelor's degree in Business or related field
? MBA desired
? 5-7 years' relevant professional experience
? 5-8 years professional supervisory and/or leadership experience
? Advanced skills using financial software packages, databases and spreadsheets
? Advanced computer skills using databases and spreadsheets
? Advanced knowledge of cost accounting and financial reporting
? Advanced mathematical skills
? Experience working in a nutraceutical environment

Preferred Education and Experience:
? Master's degree in Business or related field
? Project Management certification
