IT Service Desk Technician 

Description
  • Provides first-line technical support to computer customers by phone, email, and at desk-side.
  • Opens, tracks, and closes trouble tickets; ensures problem ownership, escalates when necessary, and promotes end-user satisfaction.
  • Assists in testing, configuring, and deploying desktop, mobile, VoIP, printer, and scanner devices Performs desktop OS and network troubleshooting.
  • Performs A/V setup for projectors and presentations.
 
Position Requirements
  • Yrs. of Experience: 2 years minimum
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Proficiency in English
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation
  • 100% onsite, no teleworking
  • Ability to lift 50lbs and move around to setup and troubleshoot hardware
  • Experience with call center management procedures and ticketing systems
  • Capable of working independently and within in a team
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Customer-oriented and cool-tempered; ability to work with users of all technological skill levels throughout the hierarchy of the organization
  • Ability to install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain networked personal computers, peripherals, mobile devices, and end-user software.
  • Practical understanding and working knowledge of Windows 10, Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat and Reader, anti-malware software.


Desired:

• CompTIA A+, Network+ Certification

• Experience with installing, configuring, and maintaining end-user digital certificates.

• Bachelor's degree(Preferred); additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of
degree

• Self-starter with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, flexibility, good judgment
and the ability to coordinate multiple, concurrent tasks in an effective manner

• Ability to learn and support new systems and applications.

• Ability to perform occasional night and weekend work.
