Job Description:
- Reports to Facilities personnel for assignments
- Routine maintenance duties including systems furniture assembly/repair
- Basic equipment and facility repairs
- Simple carpentry tasks, such as installing shelves. hooks, or closet rods
- Changes light bulbs, may preplace standalone fixtures on systems furniture
- May be required to clear clogged drains, or minor plumbing repairs
- Does touch-up and refinishing as required
- Assists in relocating boxes and furniture components when needed
- Assists with loading or unloading trucks and moving furniture when needed
- Assemble/disassemble/relocate system furniture, panels, etc.
- Install electrical devices associated with system furniture
- Maintains tools and maintenance equipment in working order and keeps work areas in neat condition
- Must be able to read simple instructions and follow simple diagrams
- Must be able to perform simple tasks independently after being given specific instructions
- Must have a general knowledge of simple equipment used in the building trades
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
- Possess High School diploma or equivalent
- Experienced with contemporary office systems furniture
- Current state driver's license with a clean driving record
- Must be able to frequently lift and/or move 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
Objectives:

Utilize all safety practices appropriate to the work being done
Attend, pay attention and participate in safety meetings and training
Observe and report safety violations
Use of fall protection equipment if working on elevated areas

Fix the problems

Use the appropriate amount of time needed for the task
Clean up your workspace
Participate in projects as needed
- Number 4 Timely Processing of Paperwork
Complete workorder with both time and description of work completed
Manage workorder backlog keeping workorder work current and up to date
Maintain a zero overdue workorder status
- Number 5 Customer Satisfaction (Create and maintain an atmosphere of customer satisfaction)
Perform work required in time allotted
Communicate completion of work with appropriate description of work completed
