Provide technical support in the design and fabrication of prostheses/orthoses (for both children and adults)
Assist in the fabrication and assembly of a variety of prosthetic/orthotic devices
Assist in the diagnose and carrying out required repair procedures
Assess and discuss manufacturing needs/componetry requirements with the clinical team
Supports and respects the client/family's rights to make decisions based on their own values, beliefs and experiences
Bases practice on established policies, procedures and fabrication standards
Communicates in a timely and effective manner
Participates in quality improvement activities and supports the maintenance of a safe and healthy work environment for staff, clients and families

Graduate or enrolled in a recognized Orthotics Prosthetics Canada (OPC) school
Ability to effectively organize time and meet deadlines and to maintain schedule flexibility while ensuring quality of prosthetic/orthotic services & products
Demonstrated skill related to technical aspects of orthotic design
Demonstrated understanding of a Family-Centered Care service delivery model
Ability to design and fabricate custom or one-of-a-kind prosthetic/orthotic devices
Skills related to technical aspects of prosthetic/orthotic design and working knowledge of latest technology
Ability to work collaboratively as a member of a multidisciplinary and diverse team
Strong and effective organizational, interpersonal, problem-solving and time-management skills
Working knowledge of latest orthotic advancements and technological developments in the field
Ability to work well under pressure and to meet deadlines while ensuring quality of prosthetic/orthotic services & products
Basic computer skills.
