Experience of working on successful bids within a variety of sectors, to include restaurants, retail, medical and hospitality projects would be ideal, however other experience will be considered. The ideal candidate will be responsible for appropriately evaluating the cost of a project, and evaluating the cost to take on that project. The candidate will be familiar with our competitive advantages as an organization and will be able to communicate those to our benefit throughout the bidding process. Responsibilities: Maintain knowledge of competitive advantages in the industry to aid bidding process Resolve cost discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information Obtain accurate quotes for materials and systems to establish accurate cost estimates The ideal candidate will be degree qualified (Business, Construction Management, Engineering) with a minimum of 5 years’ experience within the estimating field. Must be competent in working off of electronic documents and using Onscreen Takeoff. Additionally, you will have conceptual estimating ability. Must have a stable work history; no 'job hoppers' will be considered. You must be 'Team-Focused' and have strong client orientation. Strong communication skills are a must. The successful candidate will live in the central Texas area, or be willing to relocate to the area. You may be required to travel occasionally, 1-3 days a month.   Position Requirements Qualifications Bachelor's degree (Business, Construction Management, Engineering) is desired but not required.
