Interactive Government Holdings (IGH) is seeking qualified, trained and capable individual to serve as a Support Services Specialist in the Department of Transportation, Office of the Assistant Secretary for Administration (OST-M), Office of Facilities, Information and Asset Management (OFIAM).

Position Requirements

Mission

Assist in the management, regulation, coordination, and control over a variety of programs for the Office of Facilities, Information and Asset Management.

Major responsibilities include (not all inclusive):

  • Create and produce visual graphics and PowerPoint presentations for meetings and digital display system.
  • Reviews appropriate multimedia approaches to customer requests for assistance with video, audio, and audiovisual projects.
  • Assist in operating the activities of the Conference Center
  • Manages the agency digital display system; ensures that digital files and videos display properly on all agency monitors.
  • Edits, formats, and proofs digital files for display. Design/review artwork for digital displays.
  • Assist in conducting facility surveys and inspections and evaluates the physical condition of office space.
  • Complete service calls to lessors or maintenance contractors to request building maintenance and repair using automated system.
  • Manages work load and provides accurate updates using department job tracking software.
  • Operate passenger cars and vans as needed to transport Departmental personnel.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualified Candidates must have:

  • Knowledge of wide range of principles, practices, methods and techniques for communicating information through multimedia operations to include multimedia graphics, PowerPoint presentations and other electronic media.
  • Knowledge of systems to manage, monitor and analyze workflow and individual projects and methods to identify problems and recommend workable solutions.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting and multiple priorities.
  • Exceptional knowledge and skill in oral and written communication to prepare and present guidance, recommendations and solutions regarding complex issues based on analysis and evaluation, including the preparation and presentation of reports, proposals, briefings, etc.
  • Must possess a valid driver license.

Reporting Requirements:

  • Weekly Status Report. This written report shall inform the Supervisor of the status on all assigned projects. The report shall provide details on all project hurdles and accomplishments. The government will provide template to follow.
  • Monthly Status Report. This written report shall inform the Supervisor of the status on all assigned projects. The report shall provide details on all project hurdles and accomplishments, date received and completed, category of task, problems, delays, printing vendor invoicing, etc.

Duty Hours:

  • Monday thru Friday 7:30am to 4:00pm except for all DOT Holidays

Potential Overtime Hours

  • Weekday overtime may be required. Must notify COR immediately upon beginning Overtime and upon completion of required Overtime.
  • Weekends - May be required as Overtime - must notify COR immediately upon beginning Overtime and upon completion of required Overtime.

Security

Required to successfully complete a DOT background investigation, determined by the Security Programs Officer prior to

accessing DOT information technology systems. May also be required to sign a DOT “Non-Disclosure Agreement”.
