What You Would Be Doing
The clinician/social worker works in a school-based setting and reports to the clinical manager and is responsible for ensuring that the medically related emotional and social needs of the clients are met and maintained on an individual basis in accordance with policies and procedures, and current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations. Supervisory Responsibility This position has no supervisory responsibilities; however, this position is required to have weekly or biweekly supervision with the Clinical Manager. Work Environment This job operates in a school environment but may also involve working in the community providing services outside of the office. Attendance at meetings is required and may take place at alternate company locations and in a professional office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and listen. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; drive; typing; speaking on the phone; sitting. Position Type and Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position, working at least 40-45 hours per week. This position operates Monday through Friday during regular school hours; however, there will often be times in which the requirement will include extending hours into 2-3 evenings a week. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. Travel Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected. |
