Seeking a detail oriented individual with strong hospitality leadership skills for the role of Restaurant Supervisor for both the Wild Tomato and Thistle Pub & Grille Front of House staff. This position will assist the Restaurant Management in overseeing the daily operations of restaurants and the preparation and service.

Job Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Perform frequent guest, staff and overall dining room check-ins to ensure consistent high quality of preparation and service.
  • Supervise operation of bar and dining room floor to maximize profitability, minimize legal liability, and conform to alcoholic beverage regulations.
  • Work to prevent, but resolve guests concerns if they arise in a professional and proactive manner.
  • Comply with all health and safety regulations.
  • Participate in associate scheduling and labor control for the front of house.
  • Responsible for ongoing support and new hire front of house training programs.
  • Supervise bar operation during service and monitor bar area.
  • Responsible for the front of house cleanliness and sanitation through staff section responsibilities.
  • Ensures guests enjoys and staff deliver a superior dining experience.
  • Assist staff with daily check outs and tip reporting.
 
Position Requirements

Competencies:

  • Minimum of 2 years of prior food and beverage supervision experience is required.
  • Certification in TIPS or TAM preferred.
  • Proficient in Aloha, SMS and POS Systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications (Excel, Word, Access, Outlook, Power Point) and Microsoft Publisher.
  • Clear and concise verbal communication skills.

Education:

  • AA/AS degree preferred preferably in Hospitality Management or equivalent work experience.
  • Combination of hospitality experience and education acceptable.

Physical & Other Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read technical information.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Evenings, weekends and holidays are a regular part of the schedule.
  • Must have excellent attendance and conduct record for consideration.
