LERETA is an industry leader with an enormous focus on technology, innovation, and commitment to service excellence.   Open Date 7/26/2019   Position Senior Product Researcher   Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time   Exempt/Non-Exempt Exempt   Category Information Technology   Location Covina   Req Number INF-19-00034   Description SUMMARY: The Senior Product Researcher analyzes data and provides key insights to aid in the development and execution of product design, marketing and communication, and overall operational and business strategy. With a combination of strong technical research capability, strong business acumen (mortgage servicing and/or tax servicing), and organizational prowess, the role works well in a cross-functional team-oriented structure and possesses experience working with executives, senior managers, sales, SME's, product, operational teams, development, and other required teams. Essential Functions: Work closely with internal and external customers and changing market conditions to identify potential strategic opportunities and translate them into product roadmaps Lead all aspects of research efforts, from assessing market competition, analyzing market trends and divers and determining customer needs to quantifying project financials (CBA, ROI, NPV, etc.) and building market requirements documentation Employ best practices for product research in collaboration with LERETA Executives and Senior Leadership Conduct product evaluation research, employing both qualitative and quantitative methods Manage product research projects end-to-end (i.e. briefing, development, execution, sharing, etc.   Position Requirements Required Education and Experience: BA/BS in business administration, computer science, psychology, or related field, and/or equivalent practical experience 5+ years of relevant qualitative and quantitative research experience Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Visio, PowerPoint and Word) Sound understanding of research methods and design 5+ years of experience in real estate tax servicing and/or mortgage servicing Knowledge of online survey tools (i.e. Survey Monkey) Hands-on experience scoping and prioritizing research questions, research planning, data gathering, analysis, summarizing, and sharing findings Ability to synthesize, shape and present insights that lead to adoption, actionable design recommendations, impact on our customers, and clear strategic direction Demonstrates business acumen, situational fluency, and keen focus on value creation and client satisfaction Core Competencies: Must possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment where speed, rigor and quality must be balanced to meet product/project needs Must have a sound understanding of research methods and design Must be able to collaborate and present with key stakeholders across the business Must be able to develop and execute quantitative research to support ongoing health, modifications, and satisfaction of LERETA’s product suite Must be able to identify and recruit key SME’s and lead potential product and product review meetings Must have strong analytical and interpersonal skills Must have excellent documentation and presentation skills Must be results oriented Must be a self-starter and have the ability to grasp new concepts   EOE Statement We are an Equal Employment/ Affirmative Action Opportunity employer.
