Inside/Outside Sales Representative - Anchorage AK 


Position Overview

This person works cooperatively with the Quadco District Team Members to manage Customer relationships and achieve sales goals. The position is based in Anchorage, Alaska and reports directly to the Quadco Alaska District Manager. At times, the job requires working additional hours beyond the standard 40 hour work week and some travel will be required. The individual must possess a strong work ethic, have excellent communication skills, be bright and attentive to customers and suppliers, have a positive and comfortable demeanor; be precise, timely, accurate in their business dealings; embrace additional training, new product line introduction and be willing to be mentored for continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a complete understanding of Company products and services.
  • Provide customer quotes and proposals, assist in managing inventory, shipping, receiving, and deliveries.
  • Achieve sales targets and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Research and provide forecasting for sales activity in the assigned sales territory or account.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of customer satisfaction metrics to enhance customer relationships and the Company brand.
  • Identify customer's needs and sales opportunities through sales calls and other customer interactions.
  • Respond to customer concerns in a positive and proactive manner.
  • Identify, research, and contact prospective Customers to build positive business relationships that will generate future sales and repeat business for the Company.
  • Identify, research, and contact prospective vendors for technology applications that can drive Company growth and profitability while adding value to customers.
  • Demonstrate proficiency of available sales tools, marketing materials and sales processes to promote an efficient and effective sales process.
  • Contribute to the Company’s continuous improvement culture.
  • Learn and comply with all Company and customer safety policies and procedures.
  • Maintain appropriate business confidentiality.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Salary: To 120K DOE

Position Requirements

Experience & Educational Requirements

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 15 years of combined oilfield experience with a background in operations, sales and/or marketing. College degree preferred but not necessary with previous experience level and equivalent skill set. Must have working knowledge of downhole tools including thru-tubing and rotary rig intervention, drilling rig support and production equipment within the service sector of the industry.

Required Skills and Attributes

  • Proficiency with Microsoft office suite – Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with proper phone etiquette and a Customer service mindset.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to present and sell at the corporate level.
  • Competitive attitude and work ethic with the ability to enthusiastically represent the Company.
  • Ability to work independently and as a productive team member.
  • Embrace additional training and new product line education.
  • Ability to work over 40 hours per week as necessary.
  • Ability to work legally in the U.S.A.
