Email Opening Title Performance Tester  Description Designs, codes, tests, debugs, executes, documents and implements changes to new and existing performance test scripts and solutions against many different technologies. Documents and reports on test results and provides preliminary analysis after test execution. Develops and maintains automated test scenarios that measure and validate performance against requirements and according to the performance test plan. Designs and executes performance tests to meet scalability test objectives according to the test plan. Analyze, reporting and presenting performance test results to internal team members. Communicates the performance testing status to performance test lead and project team members to ensure proper visibility into test efforts. Develop test strategies, utilizing knowledge of performance testing best practices including but not limited to virtual users, think time, pacing, latency, and packet loss. leverage knowledge of multi-tier application IT infrastructure to provide initial analysis from performance test results. Creates and maintains Client Experience monitors. Utilizes diagnostic and monitoring tools to detect performance issues throughout the technology stack and provide initial analysis on results. Identifies use cases and data needs for user account/test data creation and maintenance in accordance with performance test plans. Assist in maintaining performance measurement instrumentation used to observe application and infrastructure performance across diverse hardware, operating systems, application servers, and databases. Schedules and maintains the applications and infrastructures used during performance testing. Responsible for maintaining automated test environments and scripts for use in release to release and project performance test scenarios.   Position Requirements Bachelor's Degree in or equivalent work experience 1 year of experience in Combined experience in any of the following: performance diagnostics, capacity planning, performance architecture design, performance tuning, performance monitoring, or code profiling. 2 years of experience in Testing applications on Windows and Unix/Linux platforms. Testing/developing multi-tiered and distributed applications. Programming languages such as C++, Java, C,.Net, Delphi, Visual Studio - shell scripting languages such as Perl, Bash - web servers IIS, SunOne - Application servers such as HP Weblogic, Microsoft.Net, Jboss - Databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, Informix - Have used automated test tools like: Mercury LoadRunner, WinRunner, Quicktest Pro. - Database or application tuning experience a plus. . 1 year of experience in Hands-on experience with any of the following Client Experience monitoring tools (or similar): HPE LoadRunner/Performance Center, ReadyAPI, AppDynamics, Splunk, VM Ware, SCOM, BCO, DynaTrace, Aternity, AlertSite, etc…. 1 year of experience in Hands-on experience with any of the following profiling or diagnostics tools (or similar): CA/Wily Introscope, HP Diagnostics, Yourkit, SoapUI Pro, Quest JProbe, JProfiler, Fiddler, WireShark, Aternity, or Visual Studio Performance Tools. 1 year of experience in IT development or functional/performance testing with automated testing tools. Demonstrates a high level of accuracy, even under pressure. Demonstrates problem solving skills. Ability to simultaneously handle multiple priorities. Demonstrates time management and priority setting skills.
