What You Will Be Doing
The ideal candidate will be working within a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement instruction for the students with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and co-occurring disorders (including behavior disorders). The Education Coordinator will demonstrate an understanding and application of ABA principles and procedures, guide classroom support staff in assisting with educational instruction activities and implementation of designated intensive teaching sessions and will lead designated skill set/project meetings in collaboration with supervisors. The Education Coordinator will attend regular meetings with the clinical team.
This is a contracted, full-time (9-10 month) position with paid time off during the summer per the established educational calendar.
Primary Job Responsibilities

Developing and modifying curriculum for all students (Boundless serves students from PreK-HS; 3-22 years old) with Autism, Developmental Disabilities, and co-occurring/related disorders.

Guiding Clinic Coordinators and Behavior Technicians (aides) that support students on academic interventions and ensures quality educational outcomes for all students.

Maintain weekly schedule and develop lesson plans for intensive teaching sessions and small group intervention.

Manages the Individual Education Plan (IEP) process for all students on caseload including monitoring dates, scheduling with school and family, development goals and transition assessments/plans when necessary, running meetings, completes required paperwork to assist with Evaluation Team Reports (ETR), and other educational forms for students.

Completes and guides educational team to complete required documents including assessments, quarterly progress reports, report cards/transcripts (as assigned), graduation portfolios, and other required documents by due date.

Communicate regularly with parents/clinical staff to ensure student's IEP goals are being met, and that their needs are addressed in a timely and appropriate fashion.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date data on each student including updating and monitoring data sheets for educational team.

Correctly implement and monitor classroom behavior management system and student specific behavior plans in collaboration with behavioral supervisory team.

Completes record of service for students by designated due date/time frame

Responsible for following accrediting bodies' policies and procedure including ODE, CARF and Mental Health.

Responsible for following all training on other policies and procedures that do not fall under the above two responsibilities.

Lift and transport children across the room or as necessary while maintaining their safety

Participate in all fundraising activities through distribution of materials and information.
