Share Email Opening Title EVS Lead   Description Maintains and ensures that the casino facility (gaming areas and offices) are clean and sanitary at all times. Ensures floors, walls, vents, fixtures and windows are cleaned, using cleaning equipment and following a cleaning schedule. Provide support to the Shift Manager when requested. Always presents a friendly and professional image at the casino.   ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES Performs all the duties and responsibilities of the EVS Tech I and EVS Tech II positions such as: Cleans assigned area, following set cleaning schedule and ensuring entire area is cleaned in accordance with EVS policies and guidelines. Sets up, arranges and removes event/promotion decorations, tables, chairs, ladders and scaffolding as assigned. Operates industrial equipment to assigned areas and/or furniture. Empties all outside garbage cans and ash urns Moves office furnishing and assists with all office moves—either manually or using hand truck/cart or moving dolly. Assists in planting and weeds all planted areas of casino grounds Mows and trims all lawn, turf, shrubbery, operating weed eaters, mowers, hand and power trimmers and blowers to remove debris When necessary removes snow from sidewalks, driveways and parking lots using snow shovels, snow blowers, and snow melting chemicals. Provides training and guidance to the EVS Tech I and EVS Tech II. Keeps cleaning equipment in good repair and reports any broken or malfunctioning equipment to their Shift Manager. Drives vehicles such as vans, industrial trucks, a sweeping machine and or other light equipment to keep grounds clean. Provides team leadership by helping others and supervising staff when Shift Manager is absent or is required to do so. Additional duties/tasks as directed.     Position Requirements QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, and/or ability required.   EDUCATION High School Diploma or equivalent is required.   EXPERIENCE Previous EVS experience especially in the use of buffers, scrubbers, industrial vacuums and other industrial cleaning equipment.
