Delphi Technologies provides integration of full end-to-end gasoline and diesel engine management systems including fuel handling, fuel injection, combustion, electronic controls, test and validation capabilities, electric and hybrid electric vehicle power electronics, aftermarket and original equipment services. This exciting opportunity is located in our Troy, MI office.

Responsibilities and duties

  • Assemblers and Operators will perform light assembly of fuel injectors this includes: tear down, cleaning and re-assembly of injection bodies
  • For the cleaning, Operators will put the different components in various machines such as: start the machine, and then remove them and put them in the appropriate area
  • Based on customer demand, sometimes 12 hour shifts are required
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule such as: Monday through Saturday, some Sundays, all shifts
  • The ability to stand 85% on an eight hour shift is needed.
  • Ability to lift at least 20 lbs
  • Ability to pass hair follicle drug test and background checks
  • Utilize Kaizen and continuous improvement techniques to follow and improve current processes
  • This role has a 120 day evaluation period including a graduated pay and benefits scale. At each 30 day check-in, we will review a number of performance criteria and increase pay and benefits eligibility accordingly if all requirements are met

Position Requirements

Basic qualifications

  • High school Diploma or GED
  • 3 + months of assembly or operator experience

Preferred qualifications

  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Good attendance record
