As a Senior Professional Transportation Engineer, you will play a lead role in Alliant’s highway-heavy transportation group delivering complex transportation projects. You will have the opportunity to work closely with MnDOT and contractors on high profile, local Design-Build (DB), Construction Manager/General Contractor (CMGC), and traditional design projects. You will have responsibility for managing traditional and alternative delivery projects for MnDOT. You will utilize technical skills by being hands-on during the design process, providing technical direction and expertise to the project team. Excellent project management skills are necessary for planning, organizing, monitoring, and directing work activities and budgets. As a manager, you will participate in business development opportunities, including the preparation of proposals, participating in existing client meetings, and engaging in marketing activities to grow your client network. This position will enable you to share your knowledge by mentoring and training graduate and professional staff.
