Description

The primary responsibility of the Swanson Rink BIM Manager is to be the subject matter expert in all BIM related process, standards and industry best practicies. The BIM Manager works in close coordination to support the the BIM Specialists in each of our market segments. Specific tasks include:

  • Oversee BIM software firm-wide, including installing, configuring, maintaining, and supporting all BIM installations as well as analyzing and solving BIM user issues.
  • Provide user training, support and leadership.
  • Support each project teams and BIM Specialists by managing and creating content library files and templates, creating and enforcing standards, and evaluating project models.
 
Position Requirements

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Minimum of five years of experience utilizing Revit

  • Knowledge of Engineering drafting standards for multiple disciplines.

  • High level of proficiency with both Revit and AutoCAD

  • Strong knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing design

  • Must be a good communicator, team player and have excellent organization and coordination skills

  • Experience with Navisworks is preferred

  • Certification in Revit or Autodesk is preferred
