We're The Warren Group, New England's most trusted source for real estate and financial data and industry news since 1872, and we're looking for a full-time Marketing Coordinator to be a critical part of a dynamic marketing and sales team. Day-to-day, you'll be assembling and analyzing sales forecasts and preparing marketing and advertising strategies; collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales data; providing sales data, market trends, forecasts, account analyses, and new product information; performing market research, outreach, and tradeshow management; also budget monitoring, managing vendors, creating campaigns, prospecting through predictive lead generation, tracking and assigning contacts, maintaining the CMS database, coordinating and tracking initiatives and deliverables. But you won't be doing all this alone! You'll be a key member of our in-house marketing team.

Ideal candidates will have a bachelor's degree in marketing/communications (or related field of study) and at least one year of relevant experience. If you already have a genuine interest in real estate, even better. This role requires a professional who is organized and comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. The perfect candidate is comfortable sharing creative ideas and contributing to the marketing process from conception through completion.

Position Requirements

Founded in 1872, The Warren Group is a family-owned company recognized as New England's most trusted source for real estate and financial data and industry news. Our Data Solutions division provides mission-critical market data and statistics to lenders, regulators, researchers, and real estate professionals throughout New England and beyond. In addition, we publish Banker & Tradesman, The Commercial Record, and the Registry Review.

Reports directly to the Communications Manager.

Essential Responsibilities (not limited to):

Summary: Responsible for contributions to the entire marketing process from conception through completion, while also maintaining our customer relationship management database, coordinating and tracking marketing initiatives and deliverables. Includes:

  • Implement marketing and advertising campaigns by assembling and analyzing sales forecasts; preparing marketing and advertising strategies, plans, and objectives; planning and organizing promotional presentations; updating calendars.
  • Prepare marketing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales data.
  • Keep promotional materials ready by coordinating requirements with graphics department and maintaining inventory.
  • Support sales staff by providing sales data, market trends, forecasts, account analyses, new product information; relaying customer services requests.
  • Research competitive products by identifying and evaluating product characteristics, market share, pricing, and advertising; maintaining research databases.
  • Plan meetings and trade shows by identifying, assembling, and coordinating requirements; establishing contacts; developing schedules and assignments; coordinating mailing/email lists.
  • Monitor budgets by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, conferences and online webinars.
  • Accomplish organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
  • Develop strategic marketing initiatives and activities.
  • Implement marketing plans that include print, broadcast and online content.
  • Create branded advertising campaigns and support the marketing and design teams by coordinating and collating content.
  • Setup tracking systems for marketing campaigns and online activities.
  • Conduct market research to identify marketing opportunities and negotiate media coverage.
  • Traffic all advertising efforts to appropriate channels.
  • Develop and manage all internal communication systems.
  • Create, maintain and strengthen the organization’s overall brand through all media avenues.
  • Organize and streamline service offerings into user-friendly concepts.
  • Manage print contractors and other promotional vendors.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Simplify complex data into a user-friendly format such as graphs, charts and other visual aids for clients and management.
  • Manage and maintain lists in marketing/Sales database (HubSpot).
  • Provide user training for new and existing employees.
  • Track highly-engaged contacts and assign to reps accordingly.
  • Assist with the development of sales email templates and sequences.
  • Assist with the development of marketing campaigns and workflows
  • Identify high value prospects based on predictive lead generation.
  • Understand market and develop buyer personas.
  • Set up double opt-in campaigns for potential contacts.
  • Manage HubSpot CRM database (Merge duplicate contacts and companies; Remove unengaged contacts; Standardize contact database)

Core Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Communications or related field of study (essential) and least 1 year of relevant experience – or at least 3 years of equivalent work experience. Knowledge of real estate, mortgage, and lending markets a plus.
  • Critical thinker with strong problem-solving and research proficiencies.
  • Knowledge of Content Management Systems (CMS).
  • Ability to gather large amounts of data and convert it into meaningful analysis.
  • Solid organizational skills and detail oriented.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
  • Creative mind with superb written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to simplify complex information into a user-friendly format.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Photoshop, and web editing packages.
