What are we looking for in a Team Leader?

The Team Leader position in our inpatient and residential units is responsible for overseeing staff, managing program services, and ensuring compliance for license surveys or audits. The Team Leader provides clinical supervision to the treatment team and provides direct treatment services when needed. The Team Leader also coordinates admissions & discharges, tracks clients’ treatment progress and access to care within the facility, ensures timely & thorough completion of clinical documentation, and assigns staff schedules. This role requires a confident clinician who is able to provide feedback and motivate others. Previous experience in a supervisory role may be helpful. This position is located at Pathways, our residential treatment program for adults with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. At this facility, residents receive individualized, integrated, trauma-informed treatment that emphasizes stabilization and recovery. Pathways provides intensive short-term or long-term treatment for individuals who need a higher level of care than is provided by outpatient co-occurring treatment services. Experience providing treatment for co-occuring disorders is required for this Team Leader position.

Team Leader duties include:

  • supervising program staff, including providing coaching and direction
  • collaborating with Comprehensive teams and community organizations to coordinate client treatment and make appropriate referrals
  • gathering & tracking program data and implementing policies & procedures
  • managing team schedules and providing clinical treatment when needed
  • ensuring all staff adhere to trauma-informed & recovery principles
  • assessing clients for safety and risk to self or others, and taking appropriate crisis intervention measures when indicated
  • tracking compliance with all applicable regulations and preparing for survey & license reviews or audits
  • providing clinical supervision toward licensure as credentials allow
  • monitoring clients’ progress, symptoms, and medication response
  • facilitating educational, behavioral health, or skill-building groups
  • completing all documentation in a respectful, client-centered manner
 
Position Requirements

Education & Experience: Prior clinical experience with co-occurring disorders. Licensed Practical Nurse OR Registered Nurse OR Bachelor’s degree in a behavioral science field with Chemical Dependency Professional credential OR Master’s degree in social work or counseling.

Other Credentials: First Aid/CPR, driver's license, vehicle liability insurance, Food Handler's permit
