This position is full time and offers great benefits! The Membership Associate supports the Museum’s mission by implementing initiatives across the organization to advance our focus on members as the Museum’s primary customers, enhancing the value of membership in learning opportunities and in revenue growth. Responsibilities •Manage and implement regular renewal and acquisition activities of the Museum Membership program, including mailings, fulfillment, and lapsed recapture, using data mining and working with front line staff to understand best strategies for sales. •Evaluate Member behavior and the success of Member initiatives and communications, utilizing reports and other means as necessary. •Develop strategies, content and materials for membership outreach and communications including monthly Member eCommunications, print material and event planning. •Represent membership at Museum events, including but not limited to Member previews, special events, and AfterHours. •Evaluate and respond to individual member inquiries or comments. •Manage online membership purchasing and fulfillment and membership card printing. •Oversee timely production and quality of membership card printing. •Manage reports and communications for theIgnite Learning subsidized membership and summer camp scholarships programs serving underserved audiences. •Monitor supplies, inventory and deployment of all member-related materials. •Work with other departments to identify and develop places for added value to Museum membership. •Support collaboration with all other departments to engage members more fully in the Museum, and to engage staff completely in the Museum’s member focus. This work includes Development (to move members up a giving ladder), Exhibits(to ensure member value with repeat visitation to exhibits), Marketing (to facilitate word of mouth marketing), Guest Relations (ensuring satisfaction for the Museum’s largest visitor segment) and more. •Additional duties as need   Position Requirements Qualifications •College degree or 1-3 years of museum or membership related experience •Excellent oral and written communication skills •Strong computer literacy and social media skills •Savvy in use of social networking, web, blog and/or eNewsletter interface •Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to work collaboratively •Flexibility and ability to work with many different people and cultures •Ability to work weekend and evening hours 2-3 times per month.
