The RN Trainer/Educator reports directly to the Agency Executive Director. The person in this position develops, maintains, and facilitates the successful training of new and existing staff in the adult family homes, day services, and supportive home care environments to ensure quality personal care is being provided to residents according to regulation standards. The RN Trainer/Educator will provide oversight of agency quality of care to ensure that every aspect of client services is exceeding regulation standards. The RN Trainer/Educator will provide effective communication throughout all levels of the agency and with funding agencies partnered with the agency. Travel is required between Wausau, St. Point, Plover, and Wisconsin Rapids and is a salaried position working 40+ hours per week.   Position Requirements Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Responsible for developing, reviewing, and constantly updating training materials to meet or exceed standards in DHS88/DHS83 Complete oversight of agency quality of care through training, observation, assessing, and presenting as this position contributes to the professional development and growth of agency team members Ongoing observation will be conducted to determine the quality of care provided by caregivers and the effectiveness of the training program Provide RN knowledge, resources, and guidance to managers to assure the delivery of quality care to clients Keep current in field by reading published information and attending authorized seminars and conferences Regular attendance at appropriate agency, departmental, and program meetings Represent Opportunity Inc. in a professional manner at all times Maintain a positive attitude at all times Adhere to and support the “Core Values” of the organization while performing essential job duties, functions, and representing Opportunity Inc.
