Our Team:

The Maintenance and Facilities Planner will be responsible for the optimization of maintenance activities with the goal of improving equipment reliability and OEE.

What you will be doing:

  • The primary responsibilities of Planner will consist of scheduling and monitoring maintenance work orders.
  • Other responsibilities will include buying, storing spare parts and logging parts and data into a Computerized Maintenance Management System.
  • Scheduling of all maintenance activities through computerized maintenance management system.
  • Coordinate testing, calibration, and repair a variety of instrumentation and equipment including but not limited to packaging, compounding, HVAC, electronic measuring devices, recording and indicating instruments, laboratory test equipment, electrical, mechanical and electromechanical equipment.
  • Maintain spare parts inventory, purchase, classify, store and dispatch spare parts.
  • Must help to establish one right way mentality by standardizing progressive maintenance activities.
  • Responsible for creation, adherence and maintenance of applicable standard operating procedures.
  • Must establish system of scheduling man-hours based knowledge, history and availability. Working closely with production schedulers to coordinate activities.
  • Responsible for kitting and staging of parts for work orders.
  • Must work with Maintenance Analysts to order and inventory spare parts.
  • Primary backup for computerized maintenance management system.
  • Responsible for timely completion of PMs and work orders.
  • Enforce and adhere to all safety and GMP rules and procedures.
  • Ensure OSHA compliance on assigned machinery and equipment concerning use and maintenance.
  • Must have general understanding of routine maintenance procedures the assist with job task estimation and parts usage.
  • Perform other responsibilities as required.

What you bring to the team:

  • Experience in Interpreting data, identifying problems, and formulating proper decisions.
  • The ability to express ideas clearly (verbal and written) and the ability to work from verbal and written instructions, manuals, wiring diagrams, work orders and specifications.
  • The ability to generate and analyze reports charts and KPI's dealing with addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
  • Demonstrated experience of working independently is required.
  • Demonstrated ability in analytical reasoning skills is required.
  • Excellent communication skills are required.
  • Demonstrated abilities of resourcefulness, thinking with good judgment, initiative, and a strong work ethic are required.
  • Ability to work through multiple tasks simultaneously (multitask), manage time efficiently, and work with minimal supervision are required.
  • Intermediate computer skills required.
  • High school diploma required.

Preferred Experience and Education:

  • Greatly prefer educational certification from a recognized technical institute.
