About the Organization SRG is a Washington, D.C. based restaurant company. We create original concepts and help real estate developers, hoteliers and commercial property owners enhance the value of their food and beverage real estate. Location The Walrus Oyster and Ale House - Columbia  

Walrus Oyster and Ale House seeks Dishroom Utility for our 6,500 sq. foot, high volume, 250 seat restaurant, bar, and patio at the Columbia Mall in Columbia, MD.

In operation since September 2014, we break the corporate mold in our selection of staff. Position Requirements

Dish room Utility will report to will report to Executive Sous Chef and Executive Chef. The key responsibilities will be to:

  • Organize and operate a two bay conveyor dish-machine system comprised of scraping, stacking, rinsing, washing and proper storage.
  • Organize and maintain a three compartment wash, rinse, and sanitize pot washing station
  • Dish room Utility is Serve Safe Certified.
  • Maintains work stations and equipment in a systematic and orderly condition
  • Washes dishes and other equipment in a timely manner
  • Understands and utilizes sanitary and hygienic regulations in the kitchen
  • Be able to utilize equipment in the kitchen
  • Places dishes, utensils, and other equipment used for cooking in appropriate storage areas
