About the Organization  
Description

Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

The employee will need to have the following qualifications: Excellent communication, interpersonal and computer skills; Ability to multi-task, travel periodically, work independently with little supervision; Current experience in general industrial hygiene exposure monitoring, asbestos and microbial consulting; Knowledge and ability to perform services such as inspections, sample collection, monitoring, and clearances for a variety of industrial hygiene service lines; Clear and legible note taking; excellent observational skills; Manage and analyze industrial hygiene data and develop technical reports. Abide by ATC's Health and safety policies and procedures.

 
Position Requirements

Basic qualifications

  • Undergraduate Degree in industrial hygiene, environmental science, safety or related disciplines OR bioenvironmental engineering field training through the military
  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience in actual field work relating to Industrial Hygiene field work.
  • Or, non-degreed with minimum 5-8 years of experience in actual field work relating to Industrial Hygiene field work
  • Must meet qualifications to successfully be processed for ID badge through Government Agencies
  • Active passport
  • Experience in writing comprehensive project reports and management of data through excel or similar program.
  • Project paperwork; experience with equipment use; report writing; MS Office proficient
  • Knowledge of a state and/or federal regulations (TDSHS, FDEP, NESHAP, OSHA, EPA)
    Ability to travel 25 - 50% of the time
  • AHERA/EPA Asbestos Accreditation for Project Designer, Management Planner, Inspector, Contractor Supervisor
  • NIOSH 582

Desired qualifications

  • Texas Department of State Health Services licenses for asbestos and/or mold
  • Florida Department of Environmental Protection
  • OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER
