Industrial Hygienist - Columbia, MD

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Perform asbestos job site monitoring, environmental site inspections for asbestos, lead-based paint (LBP), and/or indoor air quality issues, and other environmental related duties, as needed
  • Assist with all Building Sciences/Environmental Management projects, report writing, and data entry.
  • Night or weekend work may be required from time to time
  • Abide by ATC's health and safety policies and procedures.
Position Requirements

Basic qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of related, verifiable experience required in the asbestos, lead, mold, and/or IAQ field
  • AHERA Building Inspector, Asbestos Supervisor, and NIOSH 582.
  • Valid driver's license

Desired qualifications:

  • B.S. in Environmental Science or related field is preferred
  • EPA Certified Lead inspector and OSHA 40 HR HAZWOPER
  • Must possess strong communications skills and technical writing skills.
  • Possess report writing skills to include compilation of quantitative and qualitative data, comparison of findings to industrial standards and guidelines
  • Should be able to handle multiple assignments
