Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer Help Desk calls/e-mails providing first/second level technical support to staff
  • Deploy computer images using Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager
  • Use Heat Help Desk system to track and monitor support calls
  • Provide support to end users using remote tools (SCCM, TeamViewer)
  • Installation of new computer systems, printers, scanners and various other peripherals
  • Troubleshoot hardware problems for computer systems and peripherals and replace defective components as needed
  • Move/relocate/setup computer systems and peripherals in support of office moves and user relocations
  • Provide support for Windows Operating systems (Windows 7/8/10)
  • Provide end user support related to network connectivity, wireless access, printing, basic user account administration (password resets etc.), user profile configuration, group folder access etc.
  • Provide support for Microsoft Office 2010/2016
  • Install approved software on computer systems
  • Provide end-user support for Cisco VOIP (voice mail password resets, IP phone rollouts etc.)
  • Create and maintain technical documentation as needed
  • Complete monthly inventory
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, support the maintenance of a safe and healthy work environment and advance a culture of client/patient safety through work and daily practices
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Well-developed troubleshooting and decision making skills to quickly resolve technical issues and to escalate unresolved issues in a timely and appropriate manner
  • Experience supporting Microsoft Windows 7/8.1/10 operating system
  • Experience with computer imaging
  • Knowledge and understanding of Active Directory
  • Experience working with Windows Administration Tools (Active Directory, DHCP, DNS etc.)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of TCP/IP and experience using related troubleshooting tools (Ping, Ipconfig, tracert, nslookup etc.)
  • Experience using and supporting Microsoft Office 2010/2016
  • Experience with replacing/repairing hardware components for computer systems and peripherals
  • Dell hardware certification (PCs & Laptops) is an asset
  • Team oriented with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Ability to conduct research to solve hardware/software issues
  • Excellent documentation skills
  • Well-developed customer service skills
  • Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to prioritize concurrent issues
  • Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle required
