Systems & Technology Research (STR) is currently seeking a highly-motivated Program Financial Analyst to play an important role in the organization by performing several activities related to our finance and tech teams. This is a hands-on position in which the ability to multitask, take initiative and work with others is essential. You are someone who proves to be a strong and multifaceted performer. As an integral member of the finance team, you will have the opportunity to grow your interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills in this diverse role.

Job Description:

  • Monitor, track, analyze, and report on program financials on various programs varying in size and complexity
  • Completion and accurate submission of customer financial deliverables (i.e., Funds and Man-Hours Expenditure Report, Contract Funds Status Report, Financial Status Report, etc.)
  • Identify and help resolve invoicing issues
  • Provide Staffing Guidance
  • Monitor Plan vs. Actual expenditures
  • Collaborate with Business Operations and Program Managers
  • Monitor subcontractor and consultant hours/costs and addressing funding needs
  • Perform special projects as assigned

 
Position Requirements

Qualifications:

  • 0 – 5 years of experience in Business, Finance or related fields
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance (US Citizen)
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Comfortable making decisions with sound judgement while complying with policies and procedures
  • Experience developing and maintaining professional and effective relationships with internal and external customers
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines as well as in a team environment
