191039 - Senior Clerk, Bibliographic Services 

Location CLP - Library Support Center  

Job Summary: Seeking a detail-oriented individual to work in the acquisitions modules of the Sierra system, ordering library materials.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Placing orders for selected materials with outside vendors;
  • Entering order records in Sierra.
Position Requirements
  • Ability to learn Sierra, OCLC, and Microsoft Office software; must be experienced in internet searching; Keyboarding proficiency necessary;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Ability to meet changing deadlines and multi-task, to work quickly and with great accuracy;
  • Attention to detail is essential;
  • Must have good oral and written communication skills;
  • Physical ability to lift light loads (40 + pounds), push heavy book trucks, reach, bend, stoop and stand for long periods of time;
  • High School diploma or GED required;
  • PA Criminal Record Check and PA Child Abuse History Clearance required upon offer of employment.
Full-Time/Part-Time Part-Time  
Work Hours 25 hours per week; Monday-Friday 8 am-4 pm  
Salary $13.00 per hour
