Share Email Opening Title Senior Navy Financial Analyst   Description The Columbia Group (TCG), a technical services support company which has a successful 50+ year history of providing the United States Military with acquisition, logistics management, engineering, design, fabrication, test and evaluation, information technology and financial management support services is seeking a Senior Navy Financial Analyst whose mission is to provide assistance in the areas of business and financial management, integrated logistics and strategic planning support in order to assist the Program in accomplishing its mission and objectives in Washington, DC. The main focus of this programs activities include ship acquisition, technical/system integration, ship production, testing, outfitting, GFE/GFI, and post-delivery. The individual in this role will fulfill the primary task of providing advice and technical assistance in the preparation of annual budgets. This individual will: Provide advice and technical assistance in the preparation of annual budgets. Measure organizational performance, assess the effects of various programs and policies on the budget. Examine budget estimates or proposals for completeness, accuracy, and conformance with established procedures, regulations, and organizational objectives. Employ cost-benefit analysis to review financial requests, assess program tradeoffs, and explore alternative funding methods. Examine past and current budgets and research economic and financial developments that affect the organization’s spending. Develop guidelines and policies governing the formulation and maintenance of budgets.
