Description

JOB SUMMARY: The Strategic Sourcing Agent will be responsible for handling the company’s end-to-end sourcing operations. This position will be able to appraise and improve our sourcing activities by analyzing the companies spending, supplying partnerships and new possibilities. This candidate will negotiate pricing, service levels and create contracts, MOU’s and pricing agreements.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Manage the company’s supply portfolio ensuring transparency of spending
  • Generate and implement efficient sourcing and category management strategies
  • Analyze and calculate costs of procurement and suggest methods to decrease expenditures
  • Utilize negotiation strategies and secure profitable deals
  • Optimize sourcing procedures to attain maximum efficiency and cost savings
  • Utilize cost levers to record savings types and results
  • Cooperate with stakeholders to guarantee agreement on terms and processes
  • Perform supplier risk analysis to ensure we are ahead of any supply chain disruptions
  • Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking
  • Ensure service levels and pricing are meeting expectations for ILG and its subsidiaries
  • Exercise a high level of time management skills and multi-tasking to run concurrent projects within designated timeframes
  • Other duties, as assigned
 
Position Requirements

EDUCATION AND TRAINING:

  1. Associates degree in relevant subject matter or equivalent experience.
  2. Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations.
  3. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedures. Ability to present information or respond to questions from managers, customers or the public.
  4. Ability to gauge and research the priority of items in work and proactively communicate with leadership regarding status consistently and continuously.
  5. Ability to calculate figures, ability to define problems, collect data and draw valid conclusions.
  6. Proficiency in PC use and MS office suite, Corridor including Outlook and Excel.
  7. Purchasing, Sourcing or Supply Management certification preferred.
  8. High degree of ethics and integrity.
