Previous high school teaching experience is preferred, and must be available from June 10th- July 12th from 7:30am -1:30pm Duties and Responsibilities Model for students the characteristics of a Lasallian/Vincentian educator; Support SHC’s mission, philosophy and ESLRs; In collaboration with colleagues, Plan and implement what students will learn, how they will learn, and how they will be assessed in a manner appropriate to the grade level; Provide regular and varied assessments of student learning to compile accurate grades and properly determine what and how all students are learning; Maintain an interactive and timely learning environment, in both physical and virtual learning spaces; Communicate consistently with students, parents, and school personnel; Keep current and complete electronic grading and attendance records. Work with the Academic Resource Specialist and/or counselors to accommodate students who have learning differences; Physical Demands The physical demands described here represent those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential job functions. Desired Qualifications Master’s Degree; Experience in a Catholic high school setting; Experience as a classroom teacher.
