The Director of Hotel Operations will report to the Edgewood Tahoe General Manager and is responsible for successfully leading and managing the day to day operations of the front office, concierge/resort activities, valet/bell service/transportation/parking, housekeeping and the Edgewood Spa. The primary focus of responsibility is evaluating and improving guest service as well as the efficiencies of the division's departments in order to execute the ultimate guest experience. This position will be an active and engaged member of the Edgewood Executive Team. This position will exhibit excellence in cultivating the Edgewood Vision by executing both employee and guest engagement standards.

Position Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive, direct oversight of hotel division within an upscale and/or lifestyle hotel or resort.
  • A proven background of high-level service delivery and guest satisfaction as measured by company and social metrics.
  • Ideal candidate will have 4 or 5 star experience.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to plan, direct, and coordinate the daily operations of the property.
  • Ability to ensure optimum performance and continual improvements in guest service, Team Member satisfaction, sales and marketing, resort experience, and profit/financial control.
  • Embrace guest service excellence.
  • Available to work varied shifts when needed, including weekends, holidays, and nights.
