Description

The Regional Marketing Manager role delivers marketing programs for Natural Retreats' destinations that drive interest and convert leads. The Marketing Manager is responsible for day to day marketing activities and strategies that drive our local destinations' business success. This encompasses: assisting in the development of marketing strategies, collateral, and promotions; working with the Digital and Content teams on channel strategy, content creation, and content calendar; and overseeing listings and referral site management. This position will work closely with the Marketing, Sales, Revenue Management, and Operations departments to ensure that the Natural Retreats brand is consistently upheld throughout all destinations.

Position Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively work with the Marketing team to develop campaign solutions based on reporting findings that drive positive business activity for Natural Retreats destination-based business
  • Recognize the unique features of each destination, its homes, and core audiences, in order to create custom marketing solution that overcome market barriers and drive bookings.
  • Monitor specific marketing related business KPI’s and booking statistics to determine marketing strategies, campaigns, and promotions for each destination
  • Deliver weekly and monthly reporting and marketing analysis to the SVP of Marketing, Senior Leadership, and General Managers.
  • Work in close collaboration with Revenue, Sales and Operations Managers to execute marketing strategies that increase qualified guest and homeowner enquiries.
  • Work closely with the Creative Services Director to execute on best practices for photography procedures, content creation, and brand standards for Natural Retreats
  • Deliver briefs and collaborate with the SEM manger, Digital Content Manager, Digital Manager, and other team members to achieve best practices for SEO, PPC, and content marketing strategies for each specific destination.
  • Assist in the management of destination-based marketing budgets
  • Manage regional home listings by supporting the Listing Coordinator with listing content, photography, and metadata briefings to ensure listings are in line with our brand and best practices for optimizing home and lodging listings
  • Assist in marketing and brand material audits, creation, and implementation
  • Work closely with the Graphic Design team -- delivering creative briefs to ensure that all campaigns, digital ads, print ads, and collateral requests are executed in-line with targeted marketing strategies and brand standards for each destination
  • Manage CVB, media and other partnerships as they pertain to destination specific business
  • Provide all assigned destinations with marketing support for events and presentations
  • Assist in managing media and press relations- working with sales and onsite teams to facilitate journalist stays
  • Communicate regularly with onsite business teams, serving as their point of contact for all marketing requests
  • Network with industry partners

Experience:

  • 4+ years of marketing experience across traditional, digital and social media channels
  • Experience of working in travel and hospitality a plus

  • Project management skills that ensure organized, on-time execution
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build strong working relationships to complete tasks
  • Accountable and organized with the ability to handle a multitude of projects with strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • Confident ability to communicate through different styles and collaborate across different teams and audiences.
  • Content writing and copy editting
  • Photography management background
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office
  • Familiarity with SEM practices and Google Analytics
  • Bachelor’s degree
