Summary:

The Academy is seeking a motivated creative individual to join our web team! The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, reliable, and have a passion for developing user friendly and creative web experiences.

The web team is a small group with great opportunity to make a large impact in both technology and its distribution throughout websites seen by millions of visitors each year. Additionally, the team works with unique and exciting film-related content not common to other companies or organizations.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain web applications using modern frameworks and JavaScript.
  • Execute day-to-day website content updates.
  • Create, modify, and optimize graphics for websites and other online materials.
  • Design, proof, send, and monitor email campaigns.
  • Test and troubleshoot pages on multiple browsers and platforms
  • Interact with creative teams to understand project goals and vision.
 
Position Requirements
  • At least 2 years web development experience.
  • Experience with Node, React, Redux, React Native, JavaScript (ES6+), JQuery.
  • Experience with HTML5, CSS, Less, SASS.
  • Experience with REST API's.
  • Experience with Git source control.
  • Strong working knowledge developing cross platform/browser compatibility.
  • Experience using Sketch, InVision, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience theming Wordpress/Drupal websites a plus.
  • Independent, self-motivated, dedicated and flexible.
  • Please be prepared to submit a portfolio of your work.
